Dave is a litigator with deep experience handling high stakes commercial disputes and guiding clients through complex litigation in both state and federal courts. His experience as a law clerk for federal district and circuit courts gives him valuable insight into judicial decision making at multiple levels. His background as an Army infantry officer further equips him with exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and composure under pressure. Dave brings disciplined advocacy, clear communication, and a solutions focused approach to every client matter.

Before joining Stone Hilton, Dave worked at a Houston litigation boutique representing commercial clients in litigation and arbitration in matters involving breach of contract; products liability; mass tort; and business torts. Before his career in private practice, Dave clerked for Tenth Circuit Judge Timothy M. Tymkovich and Southern District of Texas Judge Jeffrey V. Brown.

In law school, Dave was president of the Law School Veterans and graduated with pro bono honors. Before law school, he served eight years as an infantry officer in the United States Army.
