# Kristin Boggiano

Role: Partner

Kristin is a financial-markets and regulatory lawyer who advises financial institutions, investment managers, trading platforms, fintech companies, high-net-worth individuals, founders, and investors. Her practice sits at the intersection of markets, technology, data, and regulation. She advises on derivatives, structured finance, investment funds, digital assets, stablecoins, prediction markets, and other emerging financial products, as well as financing structures, lending, and trading. Before joining Stone Hilton as a partner, Kristin was a partner at DLA Piper, Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners, and Special Counsel at Schulte Roth & Zabel (now McDermott Will & Schulte), where she worked in the Regulatory, Investment Management and Structured Products and Derivatives groups.

## New York Based, National Counseling

Kristin brings both legal judgment and an operator’s perspective to her clients. She has founded and built financial-services and technology companies and understands the commercial, regulatory, and operational challenges involved in launching new businesses and products. She founded GameRun, an artificial-intelligence and data company that applies computer vision and predictive analytics to generate intelligence for athletes, coaches, and scouts. She also founded CrossTower, a global digital-asset and financial-technology company that operated regulated exchanges in the United States, Asia, and Bermuda and offered structured lending, OTC derivatives, stablecoins, and structured products. Both companies reflect her broader interest in using technology and complex data to create actionable intelligence, innovative products, and new markets. She was the Chief Legal Officer of both entities.

Kristin has worked with policymakers and regulatory authorities in the United States and internationally, including the U.S. Treasury, Federal Reserve, OCC, SEC, CFTC, Bermuda Monetary Authority, and policymakers in India. She founded DARLA, a regulatory think tank focused on shaping policy for emerging technologies. She also founded Women in Derivatives, now Women in Financial Markets, a global 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advancing female leadership in finance and technology, which has grown to more than 8,000 senior members. Kristin is a Senior Fellow at the U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum and an adviser to Harvard Law School’s Blockchain Association.

Kristin frequently lectures at universities, industry organizations, and other forums and writes on artificial intelligence, trading, financial markets, and regulatory developments. She is an advocate for, investor in, and mentor to entrepreneurs. Kristin holds a J.D. and an MBA from Northeastern University.
